Michael Jacobs for Illinois State Senate (SD 36)

Michael Jacobs has served as a state senator since 2005. He is a member of the Senate Appropriations II – Human Services Committee which handles the budgets for state agencies that administer programs important to Planned Parenthood clients. Senator Jacobs has pledged to support family planning, comprehensive sex education and a woman’s right to choose.

Senator Jacobs has a 100% pro-choice voting record.

As a state senator, Michael Jacobs has supported expanding the State’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Program to include coverage of mammograms, Pap tests and contraceptives.
