Mary Schneider or Kay Hatcher for Illinois State Representative (HD 50)

In the 50th House district Planned Parenthood is pleased to be able to endorse candidates in both the Democratic and Republican primaries. The 50th district was represented for over ten years by consistently pro-choice Rep. Patricia Reid Lindner. Having more than one pro-choice candidate in this race gives us a great opportunity to ensure that the 50th district remains pro-choice in the future.

Both Mary Schneider (D) and Kay Hatcher (R) have pledged to support family planning, comprehensive sex education and a woman’s right to choose.
